Ingredients
2C mango puree (if you do not have fresh mango, tinned mango works good too)
2C vanilla soymilk
4 green cardamom pods – powdered
1 Tbsp maple syrup
1 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
Instructions
Place all the ingredients in your blender and blend until smooth.

Sounds yummy! I’m a fan of anything mango
Thanks me too
it’s a delicious fruit. They grow here so I eat a lot of them
Sadly I don’t like mangoes, but I’m thinking I might love this with peaches. I really like the idea of the cardamom and maple syrup.
I am pretty sure it would taste good with peaches too. I have tried it with pineapple and it tastes great. Thanks for commenting Lorna
Enjoy your day.
I love mango lassi! I look forward to trying it with Soy Milky!
Thanks. You will not be disappointed my friend

I love how you presented the recipe for us: so cool! MMMMMMMM! I also loved taking part in this VVP! It was such fun!
Yay, you made it to the party! Thanks, Thom – looks delish!
Thanks not too sure what happened I had everything prepared… thanks cool idea…
Cardamom is such a unique addition; I’ll have to try once mangos come back around on sale (never in season here in Colorado unfortunately!) ;-(
Thanks we have that issue too. It’s mango season here and they grow locally (I have a tree in my garden) you can actually try to make with tinned mangos. I have tried it and its good too. PS I lave the mangos on the trees for the flying fox bats… They love them too lol
Oooh, I want to try with pineapple!
It’s nice too
enjoy
Hey another blip in this lineup. The blog before you in the line up in the vegan potluck is one:

Would you mind updating your go back button? I’ve emailed her to have her go forward go to you so that the links aren’t broken.
Hi Yes she did contact me and I have just done it.
Great! Thank you!!!
Okay finally here to comment instead of patching things! Thom, I love this! Mango lassi is one of my favorite beverages and I totally envy that you have Australian mangoes to work with. The ones here just don’t compare. Simple and lovely (which is sometime the BEST)!
Yes we are lucky. The lucky country
yes I have looked at some recipes online of several people. i believe, as sometimes on my own blog there are far too many ingredients also some are too complicated …. to find a middle ground i thought of a recipe that does not have many ingredients, quick and easy, but tastes very good too. I have many people on twitter who want to find easy recipes and then from the easy the more advances ones… Anyway better stop now or I will not get any work done…. Thank you for commenting
enjoy your night.
A vegan lassi recipe that looks amazing! Perfect for those warm summer days!
Yes totally agree and it’s getting warmer here
thanks for commenting
That looks so creamy and smooth Thom! Gorgeous color too! VVP has been so exciting!
It is very creamy and it took 10 minutes to make. Really yummy lassi….
I’ve never had a lassi, but I’ve always wanted to try one whenever I eat at an Indian restaurant. If only I’d known how easy they are to make at home. Thanks for sharing!
You’re welcome. It’s a good thing to have if you eat something really spicy, but alternative it’s a nice drink when it’s hot outside too. The ones in Indian restaurants are typically made with dairy, like yogurt or milk so they are unsuitable for me being vegan. Thxs for commenting.
Yum!
Yes when I tasted it that what I said.. yum! Thanks for your comment..
Cardemom – say whaaaat?! Awesome idea!
Almost as awesome as me spelling cardAmom correctly
All good I know it was a typo. Thanks for commenting and enjoy your day or night wherever you may be
yes adds to the flavour…..
